IPL 2021: SRH vs RCB match preview and predicted playing XI

IPL 2021 is already on a roll. Now, every team has played at least a game in the league and everyone has got an idea about each team. Virat Kohli’s Royal Challengers Bangalore will take on well-balanced Sunrisers Hyderabad on Wednesday.

Will Royal Challengers Bangalore continue their good form?

RCB won their game against MI in a tight game. There were a couple of comprehensive performances for RCB. Glenn Maxwell, who had a price-tag pressure played with a lot of freedom. He wasn’t worried about the outcome. He made sure that he gives his best in the middle. Maxwell certainly is the X-factor of the team. He’ll look to continue his good form as he was struggling to make a mark till last season. AB de Villiers was once again proved to be the saviour for the team as the middle order collapsed all of a sudden. His form is equally important for the team.

Although RCB chased down the target, the likes of Washington Sundar and Rajat Patidar didn’t have a great time. Hence, they would love to get their start opener Devdutt Paddikal as soon as possible. He’s expected to come back after recovering from COVID-19. The 20-year-old Karnataka left-hander was RCB’s highest run-getter in IPL 2020 with 473 runs from 15 matches, including five half-centuries in what was his debut season.

Will SRH find a way to come back?

SRH lost their last game against KKR as they failed to chase 188. Both their openers, David Warner and Wriddhiman Saha failed to make a mark. Warner’s early dismissal meant that someone will have to bat deep and Manish Pandey was the man to do so. Unfortunately, he failed to finish in the end. Warner records against RCB are terrific, hence, he might up his form. SRH’s lead bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar went for runs against KKR but he’s experienced enough to come back. Rashid Khan is the main man for SRH and his match-up’s against Kohli and de Villiers will be interesting to see.
