RCB Beat KKR By 38 Runs find to record their third consecutive win. Virat kohli led RCB Won the toss and elected to bat. They lost 2 quick wickets. But an in form Glenn Maxwell and Ab de villiers Helped Royal challengers banglore to reach above post score of 205. In response , Kolkata failed to reach the target and eventually lost by 38 runs.

Maxwell & Ab De Villiers Took RCB to 204

RCB had a very bad start to their batting innings. They lost Virat Kohli and Rajat patidar in the same over. When RCB were struggling at 9-2 , Maxwell and padikkal stabilised their innings and then in the end , Ab de villiers Came With All Guns Blazing and scored quick fire 76 of 34 balls including 3 sixes and 9 fours. Maxwell struck his second consecutive fifty and scored 78 runs from 49 deliveries including 3 sixes and 9 fours.

KKR Well Behind the Target

Kolkata Knight Riders Tries Hard but kept loosing wickets at regular interval. None of thier batsmen could score big runs. Shubhman gill , Rahul Tewatia ,Eoin Morgan , Shakib ul Hasan got starts but couldn’t capitalise on it. Russell smashed sixes in the end , but the target was very far From Kolkata’s reach.

All Round Performance by RCB Make Them Table Toppers

RCB bowlers also were very clinical. They took wickets at regular intervals. Kyle Jamieson took 3 wickets and gave 41 runs. Harshal Patel once again proved clinical and took 2 wickets giving just 17 runs. Spinners also proved economical with Sundar and Chahal giving just 31 runs and 34 runs each. RCB Won their third consecutive match and sit comfortably on table top with handsome run rate.
